The lines and branches shown generally represent the layout of our network.

Many trains do not stop at all stations. Especially at rush hour, each train makes its own distinct set of stops. Some may make additional stops not listed under their line or branch.

Check Schedules or TrainTime to find the options for your trip.

Long Island Rail Road

Babylon Branch

Trains continue to/from Jamaica and other City Terminal Zone stations. Some trains make other stops between Lynbrook and Jamaica.

Far Rockaway Branch

Trains continue to/from Jamaica and other City Terminal Zone stations.

Hempstead Branch

Trains continue to/from Jamaica and other City Terminal Zone stations.

Long Beach Branch

Trains continue to/from Jamaica and other City Terminal Zone stations. Some trains make other stops between Valley Stream and Jamaica.

Montauk Branch

Trains continue to/from Jamaica and other City Terminal Zone stations. Some trains make other stops between Babylon and Jamaica.

Oyster Bay Branch

Trains continue to/from Jamaica and other City Terminal Zone stations.

Port Jefferson Branch

Trains continue to/from Jamaica and other City Terminal Zone stations. Some trains make other stops between New Hyde Park and Jamaica.

Port Washington Branch

Trains continue to/from Grand Central or Penn Station. Port Washington Branch trains do not run to Jamaica or other City Terminal Zone stations.

Ronkonkoma Branch

Trains continue to/from Jamaica and other City Terminal Zone stations. Some trains make other stops between Hicksville and Jamaica.

West Hempstead Branch

Trains continue to/from Jamaica and other City Terminal Zone stations.

City Terminal Zone

Jamaica  is the central hub of the LIRR. Except for the Port Washington Branch, all branches run to or through Jamaica. Connect there to ​​​ trains and the AirTrain JFK. 

West of Jamaica, trains can go to/from Manhattan (Grand Central or Penn Station), Brooklyn, or Long Island City. You can transfer at Jamaica between trains to/from different terminals. Check Schedules or TrainTime to view your options.

Most trains run to/from Manhattan:

A shuttle runs to/from Brooklyn with some through service:

There is rush-hour only service to/from Long Island City, westbound in the morning and eastbound in the afternoon:

Waterbury Branch

Transfer at Bridgeport for service to/from Grand Central.

Danbury Branch

Select rush hour trains run to/from Grand Central, making some New Haven Line stops. Transfer at South Norwalk for service to/from Grand Central at all other times.

New Canaan Branch

Select weekday trains run to/from Grand Central, making some New Haven Line stops. Transfer at Stamford for service to/from Grand Central at all other times.

Pascack Valley Line

Trains run to/from Secaucus Junction and Hoboken. Transfer at Secaucus Junction for NJ TRANSIT service to/from Penn Station, New York.

Port Jervis Line

Trains run to/from Secaucus Junction and Hoboken via the NJ TRANSIT Main and Bergen County Lines. Transfer at Secaucus Junction for NJ TRANSIT service to/from Penn Station, New York.
