Frank Annicaro is the Senior Vice President, New York City Transit Department of Buses and MTA Bus Company.
He is responsible for a $3.5 billion budget, managing over 18,000 employees, and delivering bus service for an annual ridership of approximately 680 million. He manages 36 operating locations across the New York City metropolitan area and approximately 5,900 buses.
Prior to his current position, Annicaro was the Chief Maintenance Officer for Buses. He was accountable for maintaining the entire fleet of 5,900 buses, managing multiple new bus procurement contracts and warranties, developing bus fleet plans, and focusing on the critical transition to a Zero Emission fleet by 2040.
Annicaro has over 30 years of experience in transportation, the last 18 in Buses, and prior to that over a decade in the private sector specializing in logistic services. He earned an Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University and holds several technical and professional certifications.
Annicaro was born and raised in New York, and is married with two children.
