About our November meeting
The MTA is holding in-person meetings of the MTA Board and the MTA Board’s committees, held separately over two days.
MTA Board committee chairs will convene seven meetings on Monday, November 15. On Wednesday, November 17, a meeting of the full MTA Board will begin at 10 a.m.
The following committees will meet in November:
- Long Island Rail Road
- Metro-North Railroad
- New York City Transit and Bus
- Bridges and Tunnels
- Finance
- Capital Program Oversight
- Corporate Governance
Public comment
We want to hear from you.
The public will have the opportunity to provide in-person or virtual comments at the full Board meeting. Up to 30 members of the public may provide comment at each meeting. Should the maximum number of speakers be reached, additional speakers will have the opportunity to provide video comments that will be provided to Board Members and made available on the meeting webpage.
Those who wish to provide in-person public comments can register at 2 Broadway in the 20 minutes prior to each scheduled Committee meeting time, and between 9:25 and 9:55 a.m. on Wednesday, November 17th, for the full Board meeting.
Registration to speak at Wednesday's board meeting is now closed.
We are still observing some COVID-19 safety protocols. Seating capacity will be limited to 52 people to allow for three feet of social distancing, with an overflow room that can hold up to an additional 25 members of the public. Masks are required to be worn by all individuals at 2 Broadway. The public is encouraged to watch the meeting online here via livestream.
