About the route

The proposed QM2 Express runs inbound (westbound) to Midtown Manhattan via Sixth Avenue, and outbound (eastbound) to Bay Terrace.

The proposed length of the QM2 Express route is 16.9 miles.

In the existing route, the average stop spacing is 1,847 feet. Under the proposed route, that would decrease to 1,722 feet.

Route Improvements

  • Improved stop spacing
  • NYC DOT Priority Corridor

Review the QM2 route summary

The proposed QM2 would maintain its existing routing. Along the highway, the QM2 would travel non-stop to and from Manhattan.

Weekday peak and midday frequencies would be reduced due to low ridership on some trips. Service would continue to operate during the same hours.

See the route profile with full stop list.
