Penn Station Customers

MTA is continuing to improve and transform Penn Station. Starting on Wednesday evening, June 9, and continuing through early morning on Thursday, June 10, and again from Thursday evening, June 10, through early morning on Friday, June 11, the East End Gateway entrance at 33rd Street and 7th Avenue will be closed for scheduled work. As an alternative, customers seeking access between the street level and the LIRR Concourse can use the 34th Street entrance near 7th Avenue. See the wayfinding map below to learn more.

The East End Gateway and LIRR Concourse Project will include higher ceilings, wider corridors, improved lighting and air flow, accessibility enhancements, new retail options, and more — for a better Penn Station experience.
