Fares
Bus and rail fares
Adult and reduced fares on the Hudson Rail Link are the same as on MTA buses: $2.90, or $1.45 for reduced-fare riders. You can use OMNY, MetroCards (including unlimited MetroCards), and coins on board buses. If you tap to pay with OMNY or use a MetroCard, you will receive a free transfer to or from subways and other local bus routes within two hours of paying your fare. If you use OMNY, you can also earn free rides with our weekly fare cap.
Children under 5 ride free, and those ages 5-11 pay 75 cents. Student MetroCards are not accepted.
For travel between Spuyten Duyvil or Riverdale and Grand Central, a CityTicket costs $7 on peak trains and $5 on off-peak trains. A monthly rail ticket costs $180.
UniTicket
Hudson Rail Link passes are available as add-ons to weekly and monthly Metro-North tickets for $12.50 and $41.75 respectively. A combined bus and rail ticket to Grand Central is $221.75 monthly or $83.50 weekly.
These combined UniTickets are only sold at ticket machines and ticket offices. They are not available on the TrainTime app. They are not valid for transfers to the subway or other bus routes.
If you also regularly ride subways and buses, purchasing a monthly or weekly rail ticket and an Unlimited MetroCard may be a better value than a UniTicket.

Hudson Rail Link buses will not run on:
