MTA Advises Customers of Temporary Disruption to Countdown Clocks, Real-Time Information, and Suspension of Weekend Service between Manhattan and Queens on the 7 Line

No 7 Train Service between 34 St-Hudson Yards and Queensboro Plaza This Weekend

 

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) today advised customers of overnight weekend disruptions to real-time service information for the  line, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19 and Sunday, Nov. 20. During that time period, maintenance upgrades will be performed by MTA IT that require servers providing real-time data to countdown clocks, the MYmta app, and third-party mobile applications to be temporarily offline.

In addition, there will be no  service between 34 St–Hudson Yards and Queensboro Plaza beginning Saturday, Nov. 19 from 12:15 a.m. until Monday, Nov. 21 at 5 a.m.  trains will run in Queens between Flushing-Main St and Queensboro Plaza.

Free shuttle buses will run in two sections:

          In Queens between Queensboro Plaza and Vernon Blvd-Jackson Av

          In Manhattan between Times Sq-42 St and 34 St-Hudson Yards

trains will run via the to and from Astoria-Ditmars Blvd, providing additional service between Queens and Manhattan. The 42 Street Shuttle will run overnights. For service between Queens and Manhattan, customers are advised to take the  or trains.
