New schedules will go into effect on the Harlem, Hudson, and New Haven lines on October 6, 2024.

There are no major changes to service. Some departure times, especially on the New Haven Line, have moved a few minutes earlier or later to improve reliability. Check the new schedules or use our TrainTime app to see if your trip will change.

At Grand Central, track assignments for outbound trains will be posted on screens and in our TrainTime app 20 minutes prior to scheduled departure time, instead of 30. This will mean less waiting on platforms for train doors to open.

Extra seasonal weekend service

Hudson Line

Between October 6 and November 10, four additional trains will run between Grand Central and Poughkeepsie on Saturdays and Sundays. Read more about our added seasonal service on the Hudson Line.

New Haven Line

Between November 30 and December 29, eight additional trains on Saturdays and four additional trains on Sundays will run between Grand Central and New Haven.
