New schedules will go into effect on all three Metro-North east of Hudson lines starting October 29.
On the Hudson Line, additional weekend trains between Grand Central and Poughkeepsie have been restored following the completion of track work for the season.
On the New Haven Line, New Canaan Branch, and Danbury Branch, service in Connecticut has been adjusted in coordination with our partners at the Connecticut Department of Transportation. Most of these reductions are on Fridays when fewer people are riding. Service levels for riders at stations in New York State remain the same. Key changes to New Haven Line service are outlined below. If your train no longer runs, check the new schedules or use the TrainTime app to find alternative travel options.
There are minor changes to allow for track and infrastructure maintenance projects on all lines. All riders should check the new schedules or use our TrainTime app to see if these minor changes impact their trip.
