Extra Eastbound Service
On Friday, July 2, LIRR will provide five additional afternoon trains from Penn Station for customers getting an early start on the Independence Day holiday weekend.
Babylon Branch:
- An added local train will depart Penn Station at 1:56 p.m., stopping at Jamaica (2:15 p.m.), Rockville Centre (2:31 p.m.), then making all stops and arriving at Babylon at 3:07 p.m.
- An added express train will depart Penn Station at 2:32 p.m., stopping at Lynbrook (3:06 p.m.), then making all stops and arriving at Babylon at 3:45 p.m.
- An added local train will depart Penn Station at 3:00 p.m., stopping at Jamaica (3:19 p.m.), Rockville Centre (3:35 p.m.), then making all stops and arriving at Babylon at 4:12 p.m.
Port Jefferson Branch:
- An added local train will depart Penn Station at 2:26 p.m., stopping at Forest Hills (2:40 p.m.), Kew Gardens (2:42 p.m.), Jamaica (2:47 p.m.), then making all stops and arriving at Huntington at 3:32 p.m.
- The 2:26 p.m. train from Penn Station to Hicksville will be extended to Huntington, stopping at Syosset (3:21 p.m.), Cold Spring Harbor (3:26 p.m.), and Huntington (3:32 p.m.).
Ronkonkoma Branch:
- An added local train will depart Penn Station at 1:49 p.m., stopping at Woodside (2:00 p.m.), Jamaica (2:09 p.m.), Mineola (2:24 p.m.), Hicksville (2:35 p.m.), then making all stops (except Pinelawn) and arriving at Ronkonkoma at 3:11 p.m.
