On Friday, September 3, Metro-North Railroad will provide six extra getaway trains for customers getting an early start on the holiday weekend.
Hudson Line
Two extra “getaway” trains will depart from Grand Central Terminal at:
- 1:50 p.m., stopping at Harlem-125th Street and all stations to Croton-Harmon
- 2:18 p.m., stopping at Harlem-125th Street, then express to Croton-Harmon and all stations to Poughkeepsie
Harlem Line
Two extra “getaway” trains will depart from Grand Central Terminal at:
- 1:16 p.m., stopping at Harlem-125th Street, then express to White Plains and all stations to Southeast
- 1:52 p.m., stopping at Harlem-125th Street and all stations to North White Plains
New Haven Line
Two extra “getaway” trains will depart from Grand Central Terminal at:
- 1:07 p.m., stopping at Harlem-125th Street, Fordham and all stations to Stamford
- 1:34 p.m., stopping at Harlem-125th Street, then express to Stamford and all stations to New Haven
On Saturday and Sunday, September 4-5, Metro-North will operate on regular weekend schedules.
On Labor Day, Monday, September 6, Metro-North trains will operate on a Sunday schedule.
Hudson Line Connecting Services
Hudson Rail Link buses will meet the extra Hudson Line train departing Grand Central Terminal at 1:50 p.m., arriving at Spuyten Duyvil at 2:14 p.m. and Riverdale at 2:18 p.m.
The Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry will have an early trip that will meet the 2:51 pm local train from Grand Central Terminal, which arrives in Ossining at 3:53 p.m.
The Newburgh-Beacon Ferry will have two early trips that will meet the 2:43 p.m. and 3:18 p.m. trains from Grand Central Terminal.
