Subway service changes: December 2-5

There are service changes on the subway this weekend. Here’s how that will affect how you get around.
Updated December 2, 2022 10:30 a.m.

Happy December, y'all! It's officially cozy season — a.k.a. the perfect time of year to take a spin around an ice-skating rink, sip some rich hot chocolate, and enjoy festive displays of multicolored lights throughout the city.

It's also your chance to take a trip back in time on the New York Transit Museum's annual Holiday Nostalgia Train. This year's ride features the "Train of Many Colors," featuring 1960s subway cars that are painted vibrant colors (Redbird fans, this one's for you). The vintage train will be making express stops on the local   line between 137 St-City College and Chambers St. It's happening every Sunday through December 18, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Learn more
